The PCMA staff participated in several specialized training programs related to the PCMA’s fields of work during 2024, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance and develop employee capacities. A group of employees attended specialized training courses in the insurance industry held in cooperation with Oxfam. These courses focused on financial management of agricultural insurance, the fundamental aspects of agricultural cooperative insurance, and the standards/principles of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
In the same context, the PCMA participated in a series of specialized remote training programs organized by the Arab Monetary Fund and the Union of Arab Securities Authorities. These programs covered topics including sukuk structures and their uses in financing, the development of Arab capital markets, corporate governance, environmental and social governance (ESG), as well as wealth and investment management.
The PCMA staff also participated in a number of specialized training programs in professional, financial, and administrative fields. These included specialized training on artificial intelligence in financial institutions, data analysis for the business sector, and Islamic finance (standards and governance). Additionally, there was specialized training on management and leadership for supervisory-level staff. In the field of communication, the PCMA took part in a specialized course on digital media in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy.
