In its pursuit to develop the sectors it supervises, the Authority`s Board of Directors has held a closed meeting to set a strategic plan for the work of the Authority during the coming years.
The meeting was held at the Dead Sea / Jordan between 13 - 15.11.2008. It was attended by more than 50 participants representing all the parties related to the Authority`s business, such as the financial market, brokerage, insurance and listed companies, the Palestinian Monetary Authority, Company`s Controller, the Palestinian Investment Fund, as well as a number of experts and representatives of regional and international institutions such as the International Finance Corporation, The World Bank, Amman Financial Market and the Jordanian Insurance Corporation.
As a result of this meeting, The Palestinian Capital Market Authority has set its strategic plan through analysis of its internal and external environment and taking advantage of modern theories in the field of strategic planning.
