Strategic Plan 2016 – 2020

The year 2015 marked the conclusion of the PCMA strategy for the years 2012-2015, in which the PCMA commenced the formulation and development of its five-year strategy for the years 2016-2020. The new strategy was developed according to a detailed plan specifically prepared for this purpose. This plan included revision of the previous strategy, evaluation of the achievements, and identifying the divergences (if any), followed by analysis of the internal and surrounding environment in order to define the determining factors alongside identifying the opportunities, threats, strengths, and weaknesses of the PCMA and the supervised sectors. Subsequently, PCMA held consultative meetings with the sectors in order to detect challenges faced by each sector and to highlight the expected role PCMA would play in order to face such challenges from the sectors point of view. This led to the formulation of the strategic goals of the PCMA as well as related sub-goals and consequently setting the PCMA Strategic Plan for the years 2016 – 2020.
